**Job Summary**:
There are three major DC Sub-Sections. These are;
Despatch
Receiving
Cool room

DC Store Person are to perform their duties as per the procedures outlined in the Core Business System and as directed by the DC Supervisor and other managers where applicable.

**Responsibilities**:
DC Storemen are to comply with Company Policies and Procedures and Statutory Requirements as applicable. This includes compliance with H&S Policies.
Ensure an appropriate level of care is taken to preserve and protect all items received, stored, and shipped.
Ensure agreed service levels are met and maintained.
Where applicable, notify DC Supervisor of errors, complaints and grievances. Comply with adequate standards of housekeeping and general cleanliness in the DC.
Provide where possible active input to the development of procedures and work instructions to improve efficiency of DC operations generally and encourage harmony and high morale among DC staff.
Compliance with agreed service levels
Compliance with procedures
Error minimisation and correction
Write Off levels (attributable to DC operations)
Stock accuracy
Work as part of a diverse team and be willing to contribute to the wider team and organisational goals on continual basis.
Attend training as required in the role.
Other projects or activities as required by the position.

**Job Requirements**:

Equivalent to 1 year related experience and/or training. A demonstrated general understanding of sound logistics principles.
Ability to read, analyse, and interpret general business correspondence and procedures. Also be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and staff.
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Current forklift licence
Demonstrated ability to generate an attitude of professionalism and commitment to excellence in the provision of Logistical Services to internal and external customers.
