As an electrician at PTD Electrical Services you will play a crucial role in ensuring a clean operation and ongoing maintenance of electrical systems of our clients.

We are currently seeking highly skilled and motivated Project and Maintenance Electricians to join our team

  • Qualified Supervisors Certificate or Contractors License

Qualifications:

  • Valid electrical license.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, Australian Standards, and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools.
  • Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 3 years trade experience, possess a minimum supervisor Certificate, have a valid driver's license, a Whitecard, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and customer service experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Residential:

  • Install, repair, and maintain wiring, lighting, and electrical systems in residential new builds.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, ensuring safety and compliance with local codes.
  • Upgrade electrical systems for renovations or new construction projects.
  • Provide guidance to homeowners on energy-saving practices and electrical safety.

Commercial:

  • Design and implement electrical systems for offices, retail spaces, and other commercial buildings.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in commercial settings, minimizing downtime.
  • Collaborate with other trades and contractors to meet project deadlines and specifications.
  • Industrial:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in manufacturing plants, warehouses, and other industrial facilities.
  • Work with complex machinery and control systems, ensuring their proper operation and safety.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to reduce the risk of equipment failure and production delays.
  • Adhere to stringent safety protocols and industry regulations in hazardous environments.
