We're a Christmas hire business that delivers and sets up high-end Christmas trees and decorations for private homes, events and businesses. We're looking for responsible and logical thinkers to work in our Warehouse operations. The Warehouse Store Person plays a critical role in ensuring our daily operations run smoothly.

You will need to learn quickly, be able to work independently and as part of a team, have a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Hours of work will likely range from 3 – 7hrs per day Monday – Friday (excluding public holidays).

The Christmas Casual role starts towards the end of October 2024 and finishes in mid-January 2025. Located in our dedicated warehouse in Heidelberg West, there is plenty of free local parking and loads of lunch options within walking distance.

This role is covered by the General Retail Industry Award, Casual Employee Level 1.

The Role includes:

  • Picking and packing outgoing Christmas decoration orders.
  • Returning stock to inventory.
  • Maintaining warehouse order. Ensuring the goods within the warehouse are organised, and kept clean and tidy.
  • Ensuring tools of trade are prepared and in good working order.
  • Unpacking deliveries and ensuring stock is stored correctly.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading of vans.
  • Repairing decorations and organising waste/recycling of packaging materials.
  • Clear and friendly verbal communication with other team members and your supervisor.
  • Following processes and procedures and directions of the supervisor.
  • This is a physically demanding role that requires standing, walking and lifting (sometimes heavy objects) for extended periods of time.
  • A valid Victorian Drivers Licence would be an advantage.
