What is the role?

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the direct day-to-day management of the warehousing and distribution functions of Veneziano Coffee’s Queensland operation. This role would suit someone looking for their next opportunity to make an impact, develop a small team, and truly own our Queensland Warehouse and Logistics function.

**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:
Day-to-day management of people within the warehouse, to ensure company’s targets and objectives achieve customers’ requirements,
Ensuring housekeeping standards are meet and continuous improvement within the warehouse,
Receiving goods from suppliers into NetSuite; check off packing slips and resolve any stock discrepancies with suppliers.
Capture invoices for received goods,
Stock rotation and management; including completion of cycle counts, and resolving of stock discrepancies,
Ensure OHS practises are maintained, supervise all warehouse personnel to ensure efficient and safe work practices,
Coordinate deliveries and stock transfers with carriers and provide advice to interstate distributors of most efficient logistics.

What skills and knowledge do I need?

Previous FMCG warehouse or logistics experience is highly regarded,
Proven ability to closely coach, manage and develop a small team to succeed,
Professionalism, dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness,
Highly motivated with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines,
Strong & effective communication, time management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills,
A sound understanding of OH&S and maintaining safe work practices,
Prior experience with NetSuite highly regarded.
Forklift and drivers licence essential.
