About the role

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Manager of Assets and Infrastructure, the Contracts and Administration Officer plays a key role in supporting the Town's operations through effective contract management, procurement coordination, and administrative support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple projects and liaising with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with project documentation and liaise with external stakeholders.
-
Manage procurement processes including RFQs and RFTs.
-
Monitor budgets, raise purchase orders, and track expenditure.
-
Support asset management activities including maintenance scheduling and contractor coordination.
-
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with procurement and contract procedures.
-
Provide administrative support to the Director of Operations, the Manager of Assets and Infrastructure , and operational teams.
Qualifications and Skills
-
Demonstrated experience in administration within an operational or service delivery environment.
-
Experience in contract management and procurement processes.
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital project management tools (SharePoint and Project Central).
-
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
-
A qualification in Administration or equivalent experience
-
A valid Driver's Licence is required.
