**Your New Opportunity**:
We have a new opportunity for a Contract Officer to join our passionate Defence Programmes Group in our **Kings Park **office. We are looking for an energetic team player, with a positive attitude, to be a part of our group, where you will be responsible for providing contract management support.

**What will you be doing?**

You will manage the administration of Penske Australia's In Service Support Contract with the Commonwealth, and assist in the management of Contract planning initiatives. This role will require the successful incumbent to collaboratively develop and manage contract policies & procedures, as well as the development of contract change proposals (CCPs) and occasional contract renewals. Responsibilities will also include:

- Manage performance measurement data and reporting through regular Contract Status Reports.
- Manage the various Registers (eg Risk, Issues and Innovation and Efficiency) for reporting to the Commonwealth.
- Assist in the management of Commonwealth reports and documentation (such as risk analyses, technical investigations, etc) as required.
- Develop and maintain contract Data Item Descriptions (DIDs) and other contract-related documentation.
- Coordinate product training (in MTU and Sauer equipment) of Commonwealth personnel with PAU Training.
- Manage subcontractors and subcontractor record keeping.
- Assist in the management of Penske Technical Data and Software Rights (TDSR) strategy.
- Assist the broader Defence Programmes Group with the development of contract and tender DID's and other documentation as required.

**Are you the one?**
- You hold a qualification in business or have relevant industry/contract management experience.
- Previous working knowledge of the Defence industry and Commonwealth Contracts.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in business administration with experience in project management.
- Professionalism, commitment and proven abilities to deliver results
- You are a team player with exceptional written communication skills

Ability to obtain a Defence security clearance commensurate with the Contract requirements. This requires the applicant to be an Australian citizen.
