IT Desktop Support/Service Desk Specialist – Permanent – Sydney CBD

Our client is a leading global law firm ranked among the top in the world, renowned for its commitment to innovation, collaboration and service excellence. They're currently seeking a highly capable IT Support Specialist to join their Sydney team.

As a Level 2-3 IT Technology Specialist, you'll primarily focus on providing desktop support to professionals and clients, covering installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance. You'll handle tasks like Active Directory, Office 365 administration, Microsoft Teams, Video conferencing, Wi-Fi management and device management.

This full-time, on-site role offers a highly competitive salary package depending on experience as well as additional inclusions.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Deliver high-quality Level 2-3 IT support across desktops, devices and meeting room technologies.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and service delivery across Microsoft 365, Teams and Windows environments.
  • Support audio-visual and video conferencing systems for high-profile meetings and events.
  • Conduct IT inductions for new starters and ensure quick onboarding and proficiency.
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation, ticketing records and asset registers.
  • Collaborate closely with regional and global IT teams to deliver consistent and efficient service.
  • Assist executives, lawyers and business teams in maximising productivity through effective use of technology.
  • Provide proactive coaching and technology enablement for staff and executives.
  • Ensure reliable operation and coordination of IT equipment, meeting rooms and AV systems.

Skills and experience will include but not be limited to:

  • 3+ years of IT Support or Service Desk experience within a professional services or corporate environment.
  • Experience supporting audio-visual and video conferencing technologies.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Teams and Windows OS.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, including VIP/executive support.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive, adaptable and confident working both autonomously and as part of a team.
