Job Details:
Must Have Skills:
- Data Classification & Protection
: Expertise in identifying, categorizing, and securing sensitive data across systems, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, or CCPA. - DLP Policy Configuration & Management
: Skilled in designing, implementing, and maintaining DLP policies using tools like Symantec, Microsoft Purview, or Forcepoint to prevent unauthorized data access or leakage. - Incident Response & Investigation
: Ability to monitor, analyze, and respond to DLP alerts and privacy breaches, conducting root cause analysis and recommending remediation actions. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Assessment
: Strong understanding of data privacy laws and frameworks, with experience in conducting risk assessments and audits to ensure organizational compliance.Nice to Have Skills:
- Cloud Security Knowledge
: Familiarity with securing data in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and applying DLP controls across hybrid infrastructures. - SIEM & Threat Intelligence Integration
: Experience integrating DLP tools with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to enhance visibility and incident correlation. - Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA)
: Ability to support or conduct PIAs to evaluate data handling practices and ensure alignment with privacy regulations. - Automation & Scripting
: Basic proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to automate DLP tasks and customize rule sets.
Minimum Years of Experience:
6 yrs
Top 3 responsibilities would expect to shoulder and execute:
- Monitor and Manage DLP Incidents
- Proactively track, investigate, and resolve data loss prevention alerts, ensuring timely escalation and documentation of incidents in alignment with organizational policies.
- Implement and Maintain DLP Policies
- Configure, test, and optimize DLP rules and policies across endpoints, networks, and cloud platforms to safeguard sensitive data and support compliance requirements.
- Support Privacy Compliance and Reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data handling aligns with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and assist in generating audit reports and compliance documentation.
