Role: LC4 Integrated Force Systems Engineer (Advanced Practitioner)

Azooa is preparing a response for
RFQTS 16761
and seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Systems Engineers to join the
Land C4 (LC4) Integrated Force Team
.

This role plays a critical part in shaping the future of the Australian Army's
Land C4 capabilities
, including support for
LAND 4140
, R&D activity analysis, experimentation, systems engineering, and multi-agency collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

1. R&D, Trials, and Experimentation

• Analyse research and experimentation outcomes
• Identify capability gaps and opportunities
• Support emerging Land C4 concepts and risk reduction

2. Systems & Cross-Program Engineering

• Work across LC4 programs, including LAND 4140
• Develop and refine systems engineering artefacts
• Contribute to capability baselines, COEs, and system definitions

3. Project / Acquisition Support

• Participate in tendering, industry engagement and evaluations
• Support requirements, ILS, FIC, and risk management inputs

4. Documentation & ODCS Artefacts

• Prepare OCD, TEMP, JCNS, FPS, POCs, high-level designs and more
• Review Land Domain strategic documents and capability frameworks

5. Stakeholder Engagement

• Work with CASG, DSTG, C4ISR Design, ASD, LNIC & multinational partners
• Contribute to working groups and engineering coordination forums

6. Mentoring & Leadership

• Guide Systems Engineers across LC4
• Promote a collaborative engineering culture within Defence

7. Reporting & Governance

• Monthly reports, CPR participation, governance compliance
• Support administrative and security obligations

What We're Looking For

• Strong Defence systems engineering background
• Experience in C4ISR, RF/tactical comms, networking or R&D
• High-quality documentation and analytical skills
• Proven Defence stakeholder engagement experience
• NV1 clearance (active)
