Village Kiosk cafe located within the Toowoon Bay Surf Club on the beautiful Toowoon Bay Beach. We are open 7 days per week for breakfast and lunch.

We have an opportunity for an experienced cook/chef to join our growing team.

The position will offer up to full time hours for the right candidate. The position is available immediately, but we are also happy to wait for the right candidate.

Essential role requirements include

  • Previous cooking experience in busy cafe kitchen environment
  • Both Saturday and Sunday availability essential
  • Ability to work in a face paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to work on your own and with a team
  • Good command of English language
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer service focus with the ability to build excellent rapport with regular customers will also be important

We are looking for a short order cook or chef that can prepare a brunch and lunch menu. The successful candidate would be a self-starter who enjoys creating great meals.

Duties would include cooking to order, food preparation, stock rotation and organising and keeping a clean kitchen.

Full training provided.
