Grace Build specialises in delivering commercial projects including warehouse developments, service stations, and predominately health care. With no two days ever the same, this role is suitable for someone with flexibility in their thinking and approach and enjoys a dynamic environment.
With a robust pipeline of ongoing projects, we are seeking an Estimator to join our team and contribute to our business goals through your exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills.
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, analysing project requirements, and coordinating with subcontractors to gather pricing. You will also work closely with the project management team to ensure that all cost-related aspects are aligned with the project scope, providing support during the bidding process and ensuring that financial goals are met.
Your role will include, but is not limited to:
- Preparing and estimating budget costs for construction projects by thoroughly reviewing plans and specifications.
- Preparing Bill of Quantities.
- Developing and submitting competitive bids for construction projects.
- Preparing tender estimates
- Conducting material take-offs and quantifying the required materials accurately.
- Reviewing and analysing subcontractor quotes, negotiating to secure the most competitive pricing.
- Attending tender interview meetings to present and discuss bid proposals.
What we're seeking:
- Experience in Estimating, Project Management, and Construction
- Strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Experience with Cubit preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality results and exceeding client expectations.
