Packer and Freight Coordinator

If yes, we would like to hear from you. We are looking for a staff for our Retail Service Centre (PACK & SEND Hilton) based in West Richmond SA 5033. We are a part of a respected Australian company in the courier, freight and eCommerce logistics sector.

Main duties & responsibilities of the role include:

• Packaging correctly using professional packaging techniques to minimize warranty claims and to ensure safe delivery. This includes packaging of different items including heavy items on Pallet and handling heavy boxes.

• Weighing, measuring and consigning packages correctly.

• Arranging and performing pick-ups and deliveries on our branded vehicle.

• Actively maintain excellent customer relationships by ensuring high levels of organizational, administrative and communication skills, together with an ability to deliver optimal standards of customer service.

• Complete all administrative tasks assigned in a timely manner to ensure the smooth running of the Retail Service Centre.

• Tracking and tracing consignments and issuing delivery confirmations.

• Servicing and maintaining equipment and store.

• Maintain good relationship with customers and suppliers.

• Professional handling of Over-The-Counter -Sales, telephone sales, web estimate requests and online sales transactions.

• Providing exceptional level of customer services and actively participating in sales and marketing activities.

• Complete e-Learning training programs and approved webinars.

Key Requirements:

• Skills in packaging techniques of different items (we will provide further training on it).

• Skills in handling heavy items.

• Strong experience of customer services in retail environment.

• Sound communication skills.

• Positive attitude.

• Attention to detail.

• Valid and current SA driver's licence with excellent driving skills of a Van.

Remuneration / Benefits:

• Full time role with remuneration $55,000 - $60,000 per year, based on the skills and experience.

• Full training will be provided

• Our own company van for pickup / deliveries

• Free off-street parking
