Management Accountant
to join our dynamic Finance teamhere at Schréder. This is a high-impact role where you'll work closely with the
Commercial and Operations teams
, providing critical support through cost control, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

As the go-to expert for
management accounting, cost analysis, and variance reporting
, you'll work closely with production and leadership teams to ensure financial visibility across every stage of our manufacturing process. You'll bring the numbers to life — helping the business understand what's driving costs, where improvements can be made, and how we can operate smarter every day.

This is more than a back-office role — it's a high-impact position where your insights will shape the way we operate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports (P&L, B/S, sales, inventory, ops).
  • Manage inventory valuation and reconciliations.
  • Perform standard costing and variance analysis.
  • Monitor production costs and drive efficiency improvements.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
  • Provide insights to guide strategic and operational decisions.
  • Track CAPEX and product development; maintain registers.
  • Prepare BAS, FBT, payroll tax, ABS, and other returns.
  • Contribute to ERP improvements across finance and manufacturing.
  • Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
  • Assist with AP/AR, audits, and tax compliance.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years' of experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • CPA or CA qualified (or currently studying).
  • Strong understanding of
    management accounting,
    cost accounting,
    variance analysis,
    manufacturing processes, and inventory management
    .
  • Proficiency in complex ERP systems and Power BI.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to interpret and analyse large volumes of financial and non-financial data.
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a collaborative approach.
