About Us

Specialised Industrial Maintenance (SIM) is a small but rapidly expanding company with an Australia-wide presence. We are the exclusive Australian/NZ distributor of premium grade ceramic composites to the industrial and mining sectors. Our core business focuses on creating innovative maintenance solutions to extend the life of industrial assets.

About the Role

The prime focus is to create new opportunities and establish strong relationships with maintenance professionals within the heavy industrial, manufacturing, mining and defence sectors. Work based in Sydney and surrounding NSW territory.

Qualifications and experience

  • A dedicated, disciplined and energetic sales professional to build our company within your territory

  • A high level of motivation to achieve financial security for yourself and your family

  • Enjoyment of being "out on the road" visiting customers

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills

  • A genuine ability to build positive, lasting relationships with key stakeholders and deliver on what is promised

  • The ability to identify opportunities to solution-sell several different product applications

  • The ability to effectively manage your own time to develop, manage and maintain an effective pipeline of jobs and prospects

  • Those with a trade background and a passion for sales are also welcome to apply
