Offering creative and traditional Indian flavours, Aroma Indian Cuisine operates fully licensed fine dining restaurants serving authentic Indian dishes.

We are seeking seasoned culinary professionals with creative flairs and in-depth understanding of Indian spices, textures, and techniques who can leave their mark on every dish that leaves the kitchen.

You will be responsible for:

  • preparing and cooking authentic Indian dishes.
  • using all kitchen equipment competently.
  • ensuring use of quality ingredients
  • ordering and receiving supplies.
  • working with the chef to plan Menu.
  • minimizing wastage.
  • maintaining standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance.
  • ensuring compliance with applicable health & safety requirements.

And you will have:

  • prior full-time and relevant industry experience of at least 3+ years.
  • an acceptable trade qualification or an additional 3-year relevant experience.
  • appropriate rights to work full time in Australia.
  • an in depth understanding of Indian spices, cooking methods and techniques.
  • knife, time management and multi-tasking capabilities and a high level of personal hygiene.

Experience within 5-star rated establishments is preferred but not mandatory.
