About the role

As a leader within an agile development team, you will be responsible for creating and delivering solutions to our customers. This role involves leading and mentoring a team of Java full-stack developers, offering technical guidance, and encouraging their professional growth. You will be skilled in leading a sprint team to break down tasks, while also demonstrating a willingness to continuously learn and contribute innovative ideas to create a product you are proud of. The position requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in developing Java web applications.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and mentor a team of Java full-stack developers, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth.
• Ensure adherence to clean code principles, including readability, maintainability, testability, and adherence to coding standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code for backend services using the Spring framework, and JavaScript code for frontend services using the AngularJS/Angular frameworks.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback and mentoring to foster a culture of clean code and continuous improvement within the team.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry advancements in Java, Angular and clean code principles.

About You

• 7+ years of experience in full-stack development with a strong focus on Java, clean code and software craftsmanship
• Expertise in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC)
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3) and modern frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, Angular, React, )
• Experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, Hibernate)
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git is a plus)
• Demonstrated commitment to writing clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Nice to have but not mandatory

• Experience in a lead developer or technical leadership role
• Experience with Angular
• Experience with AWS
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins is a plus) and DevOps practices
• Experience with microservices architecture
