Paediatric Speech Pathologist – Full-Time, Part-Time, or Subcontractor

About the Role

We are seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our team — either full-time or part-time, with the option to discuss subcontracting arrangements. Both opportunities offer flexible hours to suit your lifestyle.

Our clinic is located in Bexley North (2207), with opportunities for mobile and community-based work in the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify each child's unique needs and strengths.
• Develop and implement individualised therapy plans addressing communication, cognitive, and social-emotional goals.
• Collaborate closely with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure cohesive care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings to discuss and plan best-practice interventions.
• Deliver therapy in-clinic, at schools, and in home or community settings.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, reports, and progress notes.
• Stay current with evidence-based practices and emerging research in paediatric speech pathology.

About You

We welcome new graduates as well as experienced clinicians with 1+ years of paediatric experience and a strong understanding of child development.

You will also be required to have:

• A driver's licence and access to your own vehicle
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with children, families, and colleagues
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
• A commitment to client-centred, evidence-based practice
• Flexibility to travel locally for community visits
• A passion for lifelong learning and making a genuine difference in the lives of children and their families
