This role offers diversity, professional development, and the satisfaction of seeing your clients achieve real outcomes every day.

Your Role

As a Speech Pathologist with Optimum Health Solutions, you'll:

  • Deliver evidence-based therapy across a broad and diverse clinical load, with the ability to specialise, or generalise.
  • Conduct speech, language, and swallowing assessments and create individualised treatment plans.
  • Work collaboratively with families, support coordinators, and other professionals.
  • Participate in case reviews, mentoring, and clinical supervision sessions.
  • Contribute to innovative therapy programs across clinic, school, and community settings.

You'll have the flexibility to explore your clinical interests while receiving all the guidance you need to grow in confidence and skill.

What We Offer

We invest heavily in our people — because when you grow, our clients thrive.

Structured Graduate Program – weekly supervision, mentoring, and guided learning.

Varied caseload – paediatric, adult, and NDIS clients across clinic and community.

Multidisciplinary support – work alongside OTs, Physios, EPs, and Dietitians.

Professional development – industry-leading internal program, external PD budget, and career progression.

Wellbeing and flexibility – supportive culture with manageable caseloads and work-life balance.

Career growth – clear pathways to senior, lead, and management roles.

Strong community focus – make a real difference in the Hunter region.

Competitive salary + super + PD allowance + commission – rewarding you for your contribution and commitment.

About You

We're looking for a Speech Pathologist who:

  • Holds a Bachelor or Master of Speech Pathology (or equivalent).
  • Is eligible for Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative team.
  • Has a current driver's licence and reliable transport.

New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply — we'll support you every step of the way as you transition into professional practice.

Why You'll Love Cessnock

Located in the heart of the Hunter Valley, our Cessnock clinic offers the perfect mix of lifestyle and career opportunity.

Enjoy the relaxed regional pace, award-winning cafes and wineries, and an incredible sense of community — all while building your professional foundation within a respected allied health organisation.
