Mission

We are looking for an experienced
Head of Sales – Australia
to
lead our sales strategy, own revenue growth, and build strong client partnerships
. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in building markets from the ground up and wants to be part of a fast-scaling professional services company.

Outcomes

    client base across Australia
    with measurable revenue impact

    high-performing sales function
    in the region, ensuring consistency in pipeline management and deal closure

    trusted partner for outsourcing and offshore services
    within accounting, advisory, and recruitment networks
  • Drive measurable improvements in
    conversion rates, client value, and retention

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

  • Own end-to-end
    sales strategy and execution
    in Australia
  • Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities, ensuring accuracy in reporting and forecasting
  • Lead by example take ownership of key accounts and demonstrate a
    consultative, value-driven sales approach

Business Development

  • Identify, nurture, and close new business opportunities across accounting firms, advisory practices, business house and recruitment agencies
  • Partner with marketing to optimize campaigns, improve lead quality, and tailor outreach for the Australian market
  • Attend and represent Hornbill at relevant industry events, networking forums, and conferences

Client Relationships

  • Act as a trusted partner for clients and understanding their challenges and designing tailored outsourcing solutions
  • Build
    long-term relationships
    that lead to repetitive business and referrals
  • Ensure smooth handovers to operations and maintain regular client engagement

Team Building (future scope)

  • As Hornbill grows, hire and mentor a
    local sales team
    to scale efforts
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making

Requirements

  • Minimum
    years' experience in B2B Sales and corporate sales
  • Strong background in
    accounting services, professional services, SaaS, or outsourcing
    preferred
  • Proven ability to
    hit revenue targets
    , build pipelines, and close high-value deals
  • Exceptional
    communication and relationship-building
    skills
  • Comfortable in a
    fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
    where you'll wear multiple hats
  • Based in
    Australia
    with flexibility for travel across Australia
