Overview
The Technical Sales Executive – Events, will be responsible for securing delegate attendees to take part in our conferences that are hosted across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and the USA.
This role entails you to phone up C-level executives from a range of industries and provide them with a strong value proposition around the benefits of investing their time by attending one of our conferences and securing their attendance.
The opportunity and growth within this role is huge and we are currently expanding this team to support the increased demand of a number of new conferences and services being offered in 2024.
You will need to be passionate and hungry for success with a winning can-do attitude, you will be responsible for building up your own personal pipeline while at the same time being able to nurture relationships for future and repeatable opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
– Phoning and pitching C-level executives to take part and invest their time in our event programmes
– Consultatively discussing the features and benefits of the event themes in conjunction with their respective job title
– Develop a key understanding of the subject matter to present as a subject matter expert linking your in-depth knowledge of our events, the themes of the events and their specific role
– Develop and drive strategic initiatives to drive delegate attendance
– Working towards strict KPIs to ensure output is being delivered every week.
– Providing weekly updates to the Head of Customer Success around decisions and work rate for that week
– Implement effective sales processes and strategies to meet operational objectives
– Working autonomously and being motivated to succeed and hit targets on a weekly and monthly basis
– Travel and assist in the smooth delivery onsite at each conference you are working on

– Work in a very fast-paced and growing company
– Base Salary $75,000 – $85,000 (based on experience) plus Superannuation and commission.

– Ability to speak with senior executives, while providing them with clear communication
– Outstanding customer experience and ability to interact and relate to clients with an excellent phone manner
– The ability to work autonomously, highly organised, efficient with exceptional time management skills
– Great attention to detail and have a winning can-do attitude
– Presentable, well-spoken and hungry to develop and grow with the business
– Can handle pressure and think on their own two feet, can make quick decisions on the spot that are beneficial for both parties
