The Role
We're seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our team, reporting to the Estimating & Scheduling Manager. You'll play a vital role in quantifying all materials and labour needed to build each home, across a variety of projects including single-storey and multi-unit developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately quantify and order materials and labour for various build types
- Collaborate with Site Managers and suppliers to resolve queries
- Manage variations and verify "Extra to Order" invoices
- Proof and check all scheduling work for accuracy
- Raise purchase orders and distribute to relevant parties
- Interpret contract documents, plans, and applicable legislation and standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in residential construction scheduling or related field
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of construction methods
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Initiative, enthusiasm to learn, and a helpful, team-oriented attitude
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and time management
- Consistently meets deadlines in a fast-paced environment
