About the role

Eureka Landscapes Pty Ltd is seeking a Landscape Construction Leading Hand for a full-time role. As the Landscape Construction Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of high-quality landscaping projects within the Western Corridor. This hands-on position will have you leading a team of landscape construction workers to ensure the successful completion of all assigned projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate and oversee a team of landscape construction workers to complete all assigned projects on time and to the highest standard
  • Proactively manage project timelines, resources, and equipment to optimise efficiency and productivity
  • Provide on-site guidance, training, and supervision to ensure work is carried out safely and to specification
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to address issues and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Maintain detailed records, documentation, and reporting on project progress and performance
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a leading hand or supervisory role within the landscape construction industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in the full range of landscape construction techniques, including site preparation, planting, paving, and irrigation
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Proficient in the use of landscape construction equipment and tools
  • Current driver's licence and construction industry White Card
  • Willingness to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
