About the role

NEXGEN SCAFFOLDING is seeking experienced Leading Hands and Labourers to join our dynamic team flexible with work in Brisbane and Gold Coast. As a Leading Hand or Labourer, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of our scaffolding projects across the region.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting with the safe and efficient erection, alteration and dismantling of scaffolding structures
  2. Inspecting scaffolding components to ensure compliance with safety standards
  3. Identifying and reporting any issues or defects to the site supervisor
  4. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
  5. Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures
  6. Providing guidance and support to junior team members as required

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a Leading Hand or Labourer in the scaffolding industry
  2. Ability to read and interpret scaffolding plans and drawings
  3. Exceptional knowledge of relevant safety regulations and best practices
  4. Strong communication and teamwork skills
  5. Physically fit and able to work at heights
  6. Possess a valid construction industry White Card
  7. Reliable transportation vehicle
