We're looking for an experienced and energetic Cafe Manager to lead our Love Your Mamma café in Pirie St. If you're passionate about great coffee, great people, and great vibes — this is the role for you.

About the Role

The Café Manager is fully responsible for daily operations, team leadership, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. You'll be the face of the venue, creating a culture that reflects our values and drives performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
  • Maintain the culture, vibe, and service standards of Love Your Mamma.
  • Manage daily operations — from rostering to cash handling and stock control.
  • Deliver catering and events to brand standards.
  • Uphold compliance with RSA, OH&S, and food safety requirements.
  • Build customer and corporate loyalty through consistent engagement.
  • Drive revenue, control costs, and achieve store KPIs.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • 3+ years' experience in café or hospitality management (with full site accountability).
  • Strong leadership skills in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
  • Proven ability to build customer loyalty and grow sales.
  • Confident in rostering and financial management.
  • POS and cash handling accuracy (Square preferred).
  • RSA certification and solid food safety knowledge.
  • Barista and basic food preparation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality systems.

Desirable:

  • Experience developing loyalty initiatives or local marketing.
  • Catering or events experience.
  • Coaching and mentoring of junior staff.
  • KPI-based reporting and margin control exposure.
  • Food Safety Supervisor certification.
