Unley, SA | Cafe & Coffee Management | Full-Time

Spread Delicatessen and Bar is seeking a passionate, experienced, and hands-on experienced Cafe Manager to lead our vibrant venue in Unley. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a well-loved local cafe and bring fresh energy to our team and customer experience.

As part of the EMBR Hospitality group, you'll be supported by a team that values quality, creativity, and leadership development.


What you'll be doing:
  • Leading daily front-of-house operations with confidence and care
  • Managing ordering, inventory, and supplier relationships
  • Recruiting, training and rostering a high-performing team
  • Driving team performance through KPIs and incentive programs
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and service standards
  • Managing the venue's social media presence and in-house promotions
  • Working closely with our executive and operations teams to achieve growth targets

About the role:
  • Full-Time
  • Daytime only – no nights
  • Flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance
  • Rostered across a 7-day operation with input into your schedule

About you:
  • Previous experience in a Cafe Manager or Assistant Manager role is essential
  • Strong barista skills with a passion for specialty coffee
  • Confident with ordering systems, cost control and stocktake processes
  • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • Highly organised with great communication and time management
  • A natural problem-solver who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Experience using platforms like Kounta, Deputy, and Instagram is a bonus
