About the role

Negus Enterprises PTY LTD is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Dairy Operator- Farm Assistant to join our farming operations in Busselton, Western Australia. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a dynamic agricultural environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist with the daily operations of our dairy farm, including milking, feeding, and general animal care

  • Maintain the cleanliness and order of the dairy facilities and equipment

  • Operate basic farm machinery and equipment, such as tractors, tele handler

  • Monitor the health and wellbeing of the dairy herd, administering medication where required, and report any issues to the farm manager

  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the farm

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience working on a dairy farm or in a similar agricultural setting

  • Strong practical skills in milking and maintaining dairy equipment

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of animal welfare and biosecurity

  • Good physical fitness and the ability to perform physical labour as required

  • A positive, team-oriented attitude and the willingness to learn and adapt
