We are looking for a Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant for our SuperChem store.

The right candidate must be honest, reliable and enthusiastic about playing a vital role within our team. You must also have excellent communication and customer service skills.

As part of your role you will be required to serve customers, unpack orders, enter data, handle money, make appointments with sales reps as well as other general day to day pharmacy duties. Product training will be mandatory as ongoing training will assist in a better knowledge of the products offered in store and thus giving our customers the best possible service.

The following experiences are preferred but not essential:


• Prior retail pharmacy experience with strong product and operational knowledge of pharmacy, retail and stock management.


• Prior record in stock management / control.


• S2/S3 training.


• High competency using various computer applications.


• Excellent Literacy and Numeracy skills.


• Ability to complete catalogue generation.


• Invoicing and receiving/unpacking stock.


• Prior experience using POS software to generate reports.


• Demonstrated experience in stock management and merchandising.


• Ability to implement planograms and adhere to a specific store plan.


• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and serve customers when required.


• A passion for retail and pharmacy.

Your duties will include:


• Maintaining all inventory and stock management systems accurately, within the agreed parameters and in a timely manner.


• Purchase inventory within agreed time frames and budgets.


• Maintain a process for returns/credits. This area will include out of dates, damaged and un-saleable goods.


• Analysing reports to identify dead stock and initiatives to turn over such.


• Stocktake.


• Implement catalogue and promotions.


• Maintain storeroom in line with OHS protocols.


• Merchandising and planograms.


• Customer service.
