The Role

We're looking for a
driven, consultative Sales Executive
to join our
Headquarters Team
(based in Chennai) and work closely with our
Australian leadership team
to grow our client base.

This role is ideal for someone who loves building relationships, spotting business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that make a real impact.

You can work
remotely from anywhere in Australia
or
on-site in Melbourne
flexibility guaranteed.

What You'll Do

· Identify, qualify, and convert
new business leads
through research, outreach, and relationship-building

· Understand
client pain points
in accounting, finance, and business operations

· Develop and present
customised service proposals
to decision-makers

· Manage the
end-to-end sales cycle
—from prospecting to deal closure

· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding

·
Meet and exceed
monthly and quarterly sales targets

· Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare pipeline forecasts

· Represent Purplequay at
industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities

What You'll Bring

·
2–5 years' B2B sales experience
, ideally in
accounting, outsourcing, professional services, or IT consulting

· A solid understanding of
business operations
, particularly in finance, tax, or back-office functions

· Proven success in
consultative selling
and target achievement

· Excellent
communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

· A
self-starter attitude
with strong business development drive

· Proficiency with
CRM tools
(Zoho, HubSpot, or Salesforce) and
Microsoft Office Suite

· A
Bachelor's degree
in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (preferred)
