About the role

Swift Transport Services are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Executive to join our team in Dandenong South, Victoria. This full-time role will see you responsible for driving new business development in the 3PL and express local transport industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Proactively identify and target new sales prospects within the 3PL and express transport sectors (specifically our niche - taxi trucks)
  • Arrange and conduct meetings with prospective clients to understand their logistics needs and present tailored solutions
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close new business deals
  • Manage the onboarding of new clients to ensure a seamless experience
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals
  • Work closely with the operations to ensure client satisfaction
  • Some ongoing account management
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and growth plans for the business

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2+ years of proven sales experience in the 3PL and/or express transport industry
  • Demonstrated success in winning new business and building long-term client relationships
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to present complex logistics solutions
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand client needs and translate them into tailored service offerings
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
  • A self-motivated and driven mindset with a passion for exceeding sales targets
  • Candidate who can work independently and strong ability to time manage
