We're on the lookout for a CRM Manager to elevate our customer engagement strategy and own the CRM function at Strand. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, data, and customer experience.

You'll lead the relaunch of our Strand+ loyalty program and drive the implementation of a new customer data platform (CDP). Reporting to the Director of Marketing and managing one direct report, you'll deliver personalised, insight-driven communications that deepen customer relationships, drive revenue, and shape the future of how we connect with our customers.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead the strategic evolution and relaunch of the Strand+ loyalty program, in partnership with external consultants

  • Drive the implementation of a new CDP, collaborating with IT and vendors to enable a unified customer view and unlock deeper personalisation

  • Use data to design and deliver personalised campaigns across EDM, SMS and digital – from lifecycle journeys to one-off promotions

  • Develop and execute segmentation strategies to increase engagement, repeat purchase, and customer lifetime value

  • Analyse customer behaviours and campaign results to uncover insights and continually optimise CRM and loyalty performance

  • Work cross-functionally with creative, brand, e-commerce and retail teams to ensure campaigns align with broader marketing and trading priorities

  • Champion a "test, learn and optimise" approach, embedding data-driven thinking into everything you do

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy legislation and industry best practices

  • Manage and develop one direct report, fostering capability and high performance

Who You Are

  • Minimum 4+ years' experience in a CRM or direct marketing role, preferably within retail

  • Proficient with CRM platforms such as Klaviyo, Lexer, Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent

  • Strong loyalty program experience, balancing customer experience with commercial outcomes

  • Solid knowledge of all aspects of CRM and direct marketing

  • Customer-centric with strong commercial awareness and ability to identify new revenue opportunities

  • Experienced in audience segmentation, targeting, and A/B testing for EDM campaigns

  • Proficient in Excel and managing large, complex datasets

  • Self-motivated, accountable, and thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments

  • Excellent communicator with strong organisation and attention to detail

  • Data-driven, proactive, and creative problem solver

  • Proven experience managing and developing direct reports
