As we continue to grow and expand our influence in Australia, we're on the lookout for a B2B Account Manager at our Pyrmont Head Office.
Job Description:
We're seeking a commercially savvy, relationship-driven B2B Account Manager with proven experience in the beauty industry. You'll manage and grow key retail partnerships across specialist retailers, pharmacy chains such as Chemist Warehouse and Priceline and department stores, ensuring strong in-store execution and sustained sales growth.
The ideal candidate will have established contacts in the retail beauty sector, thrive in the fast-paced pharmacy and department store environment, and bring a passion for delivering premium beauty solutions to customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact in a dynamic, growing business while working with some of the most recognised names in beauty retail.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow key B2B retail accounts within the beauty sector, including chemist chains, specialist beauty retailers and department stores
Serve as the primary contact for between W Cosmetics Buyers and the buyers, planners and category managers of retailers
Develop and execute tailored account plans to meet sales targets and brand objectives
Lead sell-in presentations, product launches and seasonal campaigns across key retail partners
Work closely with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure flawless in-store execution, ranging, and promotional activity
Analyse sales data, retail performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities
Collaborate with merchandising teams to improve visibility and sell-through in-store
Negotiate trade terms, promotional calendars, and distribution agreements with retail partners
Identify new opportunities within brand portfolio to expand and new opportunities to sell to new retailers in the market
The ideal candidates will have:
4+ years of experience in B2B account management or sales within the beauty or FMCG sector, with a focus on retail or pharmacy channels.
Demonstrated success working with major retailers
Strong understanding of the retail beauty landscape, promotional cycles and category management
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Commercially astute with the ability to use data and insights to drive account strategy
High level of organisation and ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office; experience with retailer portals
Proven track record of identifying new opportunities and onboarding brands to new retailers
