We are delighted to be partnering with a leading national retail organisation who are seeking to appoint a
Talent Acquisition Lead
to join their Newcastle team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional to shape and deliver innovative talent strategies within a fast-paced, people-focused business.

The Role

As
Talent Acquisition Lead
, you will take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process across a variety of business areas, playing a pivotal role in attracting and engaging the very best talent. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will design and deliver sourcing strategies, strengthen the employer brand, and ensure a consistently positive candidate experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading recruitment campaigns across retail, head office, and operational functions.
  • Managing a recruitment team, leading by example to deliver recruitment drives
  • Partnering with managers and leaders to understand workforce needs and develop tailored hiring strategies.
  • Building talent pipelines and implementing direct sourcing approaches.
  • Driving diversity and inclusion within all recruitment activity.
  • Enhancing employer brand and ensuring best-in-class candidate experience.
  • Using recruitment metrics and insights to improve processes and outcomes.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels. You will be motivated by delivering results and passionate about finding the right people to help the organisation thrive.

Essential experience and skills include:

  • Proven track record in recruitment/talent acquisition, ideally within a multi-site or retail organisation.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience developing innovative sourcing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
  • Familiarity with ATS systems and recruitment technology.
