Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Accountant based at WHITEFOX HQ in Melbourne, VIC. Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations across a multi-entity group structure. Responsibilities include BAS and tax compliance, payroll and commission processing, month-end reporting, general ledger management, intercompany reconciliations, trust accounting oversight, and supporting financial reporting for new ventures and business expansion. The role requires strong technical capability, accuracy, commercial awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an accounting role
  • Strong skills in BAS, GST, PAYG and payroll tax compliance
  • Experience using Xero and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical mindset and financial reporting ability
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational capability
  • Experience in real estate trust accounting is advantageous
  • CPA or CA qualification (completed or in progress) preferred
  • Experience in multi-entity business environments is desirable
