About the Role:
This role is integral in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement across our Australian operations.
In this role, you will:
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with taxation laws, including BAS, GST, FBT, and income tax.
- Support budget preparation and forecasting.
- Liaise with auditors and assist with financial audits.
- Maintain and improve internal controls and financial procedures.
- Prepare management and stakeholder financial reports.
- Assist with cash flow management and analysis.
- Process payments and ensure payroll accuracy.
- Manage workers' compensation insurance requirements.
- Contribute to ad hoc finance and business tasks as required.

About You:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant with strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach. To succeed in this role, you will have:
- 3–5 years' experience in a similar finance/accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, statutory reporting, and taxation requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Xero).
- Experience in internal controls and designing financial processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- A proactive, "can-do" attitude, team orientation, and high attention to detail.
