About the Role

We are seeking a friendly, well-organised and detail-oriented Reception / Student Services / Administration Assistant to join our growing team. This is a vital front-of-house role supporting day-to-day campus operations and providing outstanding service to our students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for students, visitors, and incoming calls
  • Support students with enrolment, orientation, and ongoing course-related enquiries
  • Issue academic documents (e.g., COEs, transcripts, attendance reports)
  • Maintain accurate student records and documentation in line with compliance standards
  • Monitor attendance and support academic intervention processes
  • Assist with general admin tasks including data entry, filing, scanning, and staff support
  • Help coordinate student activities and events
  • Ensure the reception area is welcoming, organised, and professional

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Previous experience in reception, student services or administration
  • High attention to detail and efficient organisational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student management systems (e.g. RTO Manager)
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive, team-focused attitude with a strong customer service mindset
  • Understanding of RTO/CRICOS compliance and operations

Desirable:

  • Qualification in Business Administration or related field
  • Experience working with international students
  • Multilingual skills highly regarded

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $24.95 – $33.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • SYDNEY NSW 2000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

  • RTO: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Police and Working with children Clearance (Required)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (Preferred)
