Job Opportunity at The Yard Gym Condell Park – Front of House AND/OR Group Trainer

The Yard Gym Condell Park is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and driven individual to take on a dual role as Front of House Staff and/or Personal Trainer. If you are passionate about fitness, customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere, we want you to be part of our dynamic team

Key Responsibilities:

Front of House Duties:

  • Greet and assist members and new visitors as they enter the gym, creating a welcoming environment
  • Manage member check-ins and gym access, ensuring smooth operations
  • Handle membership inquiries, registrations, renewals, and cancellations
  • Promote gym services, events, and membership packages to both trials and existing members
  • Manage phone and email communications with clients, providing information and answering queries
  • Assist with general administrative tasks and scheduling
  • Maintain an organised, professional, and clean front desk area
  • Support the team in daily operations and help with member engagement

Personal Trainer Duties:

  • Lead group training classes, ensuring all exercises are performed safely and effectively
  • Provide ongoing motivation, education, and guidance to help clients achieve their fitness goals
  • Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere in training sessions
  • Keep clients accountable and provide them with the tools to succeed in their fitness journey
  • Ensure gym equipment is safe, clean, and in good working order

Experience & Skills:

  • Sales, Admin, or CRM Management Experience: Experience in customer service, sales, or administrative roles is beneficial
  • Personal Training Experience: Previous experience as a Personal Trainer, with a Certificate III or IV in Fitness
  • Lead Management & Sales: Experience with CRM systems and tracking leads to convert potential clients into members
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for effectively interacting with members, potential clients, and the team
  • Ability to Multitask: Comfortable balancing both front-of-house responsibilities and personal training sessions
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage small details, from maintaining a clean and professional front desk to customizing fitness plans for clients
