- Band 4 $74, $79,054.09 per annum pro rata plus superannuation
- Based across Chelsea Activity Hub and Patterson Lakes Community Centre
This role is part of the Community Hubs team within the Inclusive Communities Department. We are a passionate driven team who love working with the community to meet their needs through the delivery of high-quality programs, activities, and events.
The Community Centre Administration Officer is required to provide high level administrative support to the Southern Cluster team, mainly Chelsea Activity Hub but inclusive of Patterson Lakes Community Centre and Carrum Activity Hub and engage and build rapport with community members attending the Centre/Hub.
Some Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include
- Administration: Provide high level administration support to the Southern Cluster Community Hubs, support overall day-to-day operations, monitor email inboxes, and maintain statistics
- Building Operations: Present the Centre/Hub in an open, inviting, and safe manner, coordinate building maintenance requests
- Finance: Process purchase orders, weekly banking, venue hire payments, and invoicing
Your Skills And Experience
- An ability to connect, engage and build rapport with community
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide timely, relevant, and accurate information and support to internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to use communication technology effectively and efficiently
- Experience working in a front–facing, community environment is desirable
