We're looking for passionate and skilled hospitality professionals to join our team at Regale, a modern dining Asian inspired restaurant in the heart of Melbourne CBD.

Positions Available:

  • Head Chef – Experience required, strong in kitchen fundamentals, reliable, and eager to grow with us. (Start immediatel)
  • We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and deliver consistent, high-quality dishes. The ideal candidate is confident, organised, calm under pressure, and able to manage both people and operations.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the kitchen team during all services
  • Plan and develop menus, specials, and seasonal dishes
  • Ensure food quality, taste, presentation, and consistency
  • Manage stock, ordering, costing, and minimise food waste
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards
  • Train, mentor, and motivate junior chefs
  • Work closely with management to maintain smooth operations
  • Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
  • Strong cooking skills and knowledge of modern techniques
  • Good leadership, communication, and time-management
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and busy services
  • Understanding of food cost, budgeting, and kitchen systems
  • What we're looking for
