Description
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a strong background in property maintenance, facilities management, or building services who enjoys working in a dynamic, resident-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee day-to-day maintenance and repairs across the village to ensure a safe, clean and well-presented living environment for residents.
- Undertake minor maintenance tasks, inspections, and troubleshooting directly where possible.
- Liaise with contractors and service providers to manage scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and compliance checks.
- Conduct regular property condition inspections and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Monitor and maintain building systems (e.g., fire safety, HVAC, lighting, access control).
- Support room turnaround processes during peak move-in and move-out periods including inspections of residents apartments.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and issues raised by residents and staff.
- Assist in planning and delivering preventative maintenance programs.
Skills And Experiences
Key Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in property maintenance, building services, or facilities coordination.
- Strong practical skills and willingness to carry out minor repairs personally.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements in residential accommodation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage positively with residents, contractors, and team members.
- Proficiency with maintenance software or willingness to learn.
- Availability for occasional after-hours or weekend work, as required.
