As Event Sous Chef, you'll support the Culinary Director to bring our event dining vision to life. From kitchen leadership and menu innovation to ingredient sourcing and seamless execution, you'll help set the benchmark for what event dining can be. - You will oversee event operations, ensuring smooth service and maintaining the highest culinary standards;
- Maintain a consistent level of quality in food preparation, presentation, and taste;
- Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment;
- Ensure the kitchen adheres to all health and safety regulations, including hygiene standards and food safety practices;
- Monitor stock levels, place orders for supplies, and manage food costs, ensuring the kitchen operates within budget;
- Work closely with the Event Operations Manager and other departments to ensure seamless service and the overall guest experience;
- Provide ongoing training and opportunities for your team to enhance their skills and grow within the culinary field;
- Stay updated on the latest culinary trends, experimenting with new techniques, flavours, and concepts to keep the menu fresh and exciting;
- Occasionally interact with guests, ensuring satisfaction with the meals and gathering feedback to improve offerings;
- Organise and oversee kitchen operations to maintain high levels of productivity while minimising waste and ensuring consistency in food preparation.

- You have proven experience leading and motivating a diverse kitchen team in a high-pressure environment;
- You are passionate about food and have a creative approach to designing menus and presenting dishes;
- You have a strong focus on quality, cleanliness, and presentation;
- You possess thorough knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices;
- You have strong communication skills and can collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff and other departments;
- You are able to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
