This premium pub group is on the lookout for standout full-time Sous Chef positions for busy City venues.
Here's what you'll need –
Sous Chef -
- A minimum 2 years experience. You're solid as a Sous and the Head Chef can rely on you to get the job done when he's not there.
- Your CV should show your career progression and cookery qualifications.
- Be passionate about the industry and have a strong interest in staying abreast of food trends.
- Be interested in learning/helping the Head Chef to write fully costed menus, liaise with suppliers, conduct monthly stocktakes and help manage cogs.
- Be strong on both prep and service with availability to join your team.
- Scale up or down in-line with business pace while maintaining a quality product delivered on the plate.
- Have the ability to manage your brigade.
- Be energetic and enthusiastic with the ability to manage upwards and downwards.
- Form strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Be organised, motivated, responsible, accountable and be accustomed to meeting deadlines.
- Maintain food safety standards and hold current certification.
- Have strong administration skills and be computer proficient.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills - English is a must.
- Honesty, trustworthy, reliability and accountability are all something you'll need to stand by.

- Available 7 days/nights a week with ability to work across a rotating roster
- Approximate hours of work is 38 hours per week.
