We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen of an exciting new restaurant opening soon. This is a rare opportunity to shape the culinary vision, set high standards of excellence, and create an unforgettable dining experience from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and manage the kitchen team with a focus on collaboration and consistency.
  • Develop and execute a seasonal, innovative menu aligned with the restaurant's concept and vision.
  • Ensure all dishes meet the highest standards of presentation, taste, and quality.
  • Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Uphold strict food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards at all times.
  • Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of respect, growth, and professionalism.
  • Manage kitchen operations including prep schedules, service flow, and closing procedures.
  • Work closely with management to meet financial targets and customer satisfaction goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years' culinary experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior/head chef role.
  • Strong background in modern, innovative cuisine and ability to balance creativity with consistency.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse kitchen team.
  • Solid understanding of food cost control, stock management, and supplier negotiation.
  • Deep knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with management and FOH teams.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences and building a new culinary destination.
