About the role:
Day Shift - Sunday to Thursday from 6:15am to 2:15pm at our Yennora (NSW) facility.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes within the speciality section
- Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
- Fill up all paper documents
- Assisting with the management of health and safety
- Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
- Managing and training any Commis Chefs
- Monitoring portion and waste control
- Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards
- Report to Head chef end of the shift
Skills & Experience:
- Have a passion for serving meals at a high standard
- 3-5 years industry experience as a Chef de Partie
- Possess organisation and planning skills
- Works as an unsupervised self-starter
- Efficient team player who shows respect to co-workers and managers
- Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to be resourceful
