Head Chef – Sydney CBD
Salary: $80,000–85,000 + Super
We are seeking a skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen.
Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a team
- Develop and implement seasonal menus and specials
- Ensure consistency, presentation, and excellence across all dishes
- Control - ordering, stock management, and cost control
- Maintain compliance with food safety and OH&S standards
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 4 years experience in a Head Chef role
- Know flavours and create great tasting food
- Strong team leadership and communication skills
- Creativity and confidence in menu development
- Calm, professional, and effective communicator under pressure
- Setting the flow of service and lifting speed when demand rises
- Communicate clearly and maintain composure with FOH
- Balancing prep requirements with time management
- Ability to time dishes to leave the pass together
What We Offer:
- Salary package of $80,000–85,000 + super
- Monday–Friday roster with no nights, weekends, or public holidays
