About the Role
We are looking to appoint a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to work within our Victorian branch based in Croydon South with extensive sales and people management experience. Primary responsibilities will include:
- Lead, motivate, and develop sales staff to achieve budgeted sales targets for assigned territories and ensure exceptional service levels.
- Build effective relationships with relevant internal and external customers.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
- Monitor sales metrics and KPI's, providing regular performance reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Achieve growth in revenue, profit, and sales volume.
- Manage the financial performance of the department, through delivering against targets, while controlling expenses and debtors in line with company objectives.
- Contribute to the implentation of commercially sound business initiatives.
About You
The Successful applicant will possess the following:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
- A proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the liquor industry.
- Demonstrated management skills particularly coaching and developing sales staff.
- A strong level of business / financial acumen to ensure delivery of financial targets.
- Experience in both the off premise and on premise industry sectors.
- A high level of motivation, an ability to be a team player and work independently.
- Experience in presenting and facilitating customer meetings.
