About The Role
Join a high-impact team that plays a critical role in safeguarding our business. The Contracts Team is at the forefront of risk management and governance, ensuring our commercial agreements are robust, compliant, and strategically sound. From reviewing and negotiating contracts to executing customer agreements, the team is instrumental in protecting our interests and enabling confident decision-making across the organisation.
As a Contracts Officer, you'll work closely with the Group Contracts Manager and collaborate across the broader WWG business. You'll be a key contributor to our contract lifecycle management, helping to drive best practices, streamline processes, and support our commitment to excellence in commercial operation
What You'll Be Doing
- Register new contractual arrangements into the contract management database with accuracy and timeliness.
- Administer and maintain the contract management system, including user setup, notifications, reporting functions, and data field updates.
- Manage the Contracts Team shared inbox by triaging enquiries and ensuring all communications and documents are properly filed.
- Update and track contract-related matters using Planner or a similar kanban board, ensuring visibility and accountability.
- Identify and assess contract risks by interpreting legal clauses and escalating concerns to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve contract issues and support risk mitigation strategies.
- Assist in reviewing customer contracts to ensure alignment with commercial and legal standards.
- Support the Contracts Specialist and Group Contracts Manager during contract negotiations.
- Ensure contracts are executed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Promote compliance and governance by maintaining accurate records and supporting continuous improvement in contract management practices.

What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years experience in a contracts, legal, or commercial support role preferred; law graduates, paralegals, and early career lawyers are welcome to apply.
- Bachelor of Law preferred
- Familiarity with contract management systems, including data entry, user setup, reporting, and workflow tracking.
- Ability to interpret legal clauses, identify risks, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and effective communication across teams.
- Self-motivated and collaborative, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
