Contracts Engineer

Monadelphous' Maintenance & Industrial Service division provides support in the management and execution of construction, maintenance, shutdowns and sustaining capital works. Our Mining & Minerals North West team is currently seeking a well experienced/ intermediate Contracts Engineer to provide support to the Maintenance & Industrial Services contracts function.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist and advice project teams with head contract and subcontract contract administration and claims

* Subcontractor onboarding process, client approvals and subcontract drafting

* Ensure compliance with Monadelphous's Minimum Standards and Contracting Guidelines

* Tender stage head contract/work order and scope risk review

* Develop collaborative relationships with various internal and external stakeholders

* Provide contractual and commercial guidance and coaching to project teams

* Ability to undertake site travel on an ad hoc basis

What you'll bring:

* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position within the industry

* Experience in the resources industry including multidisciplinary projects is highly desirable

* Strong attention to detail and coordination skills

* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels

* Demonstrated ability to maintain quality and attention to detail when working to deadlines in a fast paced and changing environment

* Excellent computer skills in MS Office Suite. Experience in Felix, PIMS, Aconex is desirable

* Proof of rights to work in Australia
