Unleash your potential as a Medical Secretary.

We are an established Urology Private Practice with a great supportive team, and are looking for someone proficient and skilled in performing secretarial and administrative duties in specialist rooms.

Key responsibilities: -

  • Meeting and greeting patients, responding to telephone calls and email enquiries.
  • Booking of appointments - consulting and theatre
  • Patient accounts, including invoicing and payments.
  • Provide administrative services for our satellite clinics.
  • Handling patient inquiries
  • Participation in quality improvement activities
  • Liaison with Private and Public Hospitals

Essential requirements: -

  • Previous experience working in busy specialist rooms.
  • Experience with Genie software
  • Knowledge of billing regulations in regards to Medicare and Hospital Funds
  • Awareness of medical ethics and privacy principles
  • Organized, good time management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to multi-task in a busy environment.
  • Pride themselves on their attention to detail skills – and genuinely want to make a difference in our patient's lives.
  • A genuine desire to be trained and upskilled to assist our practice.
  • Police Check (National Police Certificate)
