**About Mediclinic**:
Mediclinic Clayton is a multi-disciplinary, holistic General Practice with a special interest in Mental Health and Addiction Medicine. Mediclinic has been delivering services since our doors were opened by Dr Douglas Gee in 1969, and Dr Ernesto Andrada has maintained this tradition since acquiring the practice in 2015. Mediclinic is a GP Partner of the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre, and host student placements and partake in a number of research studies from University of Newcastle, Deakin University, and Monash University.

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a Full Time Practice Manager with 2+ years experience in Medical Reception and/or Practice Management.

The Practice Manager is a pivotal and highly valued member of the Practice team. You are responsible for the efficient management of running a multidisciplinary Medical Centre. You will inspire your team to continue to excel and with that comes growth of the business, promoting wellbeing and setting work-life balance standards within the team. You will be responsible for leading your team of medical administration staff, Nurses and Doctors and creating a positive work environment.

You are given the autonomy and discretion to oversee the operational and financial management, continuous improvement, clinical governance & risk, practice development & promotion of the clinic ensuring that a high level of customer service is being delivered to our patients. Pre-existing frameworks, policies, and procedures will support you in doing so.
- Medical Reception role experience (minimum 2-3 years)
- Experience with Practice Management Software (Best Practice)
- Proven skills of delegating, organizing, and problem solving
- Proven experience in leadership settings
- Proven ability to delegate and manage a team
- EFT and Cash taking experience
- People skills with focus on team building and team engagement
- Enthusiasm and an empowering attitude
- Experience with Drug and Alcohol, or a dedicated interest in learning

**The role will include**:

- Day-to-day management of the Medical Centre
- Payroll duties
- Actioning invoices and remittances
- Supporting the receptionists, nurses, allied health, and doctors on a daily basis
- Responding to Medico-legal requests in a timely manner
- Problem solving and resolving disputes
- Supporting the Practice Principal
