Join the Melbourne Renegades or the Melbourne Stars for the upcoming 2025/26 season – We're Hiring an Events Coordinator for each team

Are you passionate about sport, fan engagement and connecting fans to the game they love?

Cricket Victoria is looking for passionate and enthusiastic Event Coordinators to support our two Big Bash clubs, Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars, and help deliver unforgettable experiences for members and fans alike.

In this hands-on role, you'll be involved in end-to-end events and match day planning and delivery. You'll assist the Events Managers in all operational and logistical requirements and also be the key contact for all commercial and community related activities throughout the WBBL and WBBL seasons.

These are fixed term (full-time) positions from late September 2025 through to the end of January 2026.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support the successful delivery of all event and match day requirements

• Manage W/BBL stadium concourses and post-match giveaways, autographs and 'money can't buy' experience

• Coordinate various commercial activations in-game while liaising with key commercial stakeholders

• Create all documentations required for events including but not limited to, run sheets, briefs, invitation circulation and attendance tracking

• Oversee the volunteer workforce, coordinating their availability and managing them on event days

• Assist with all Community Cricket enquires, and coordination of Melbourne Renegades or Melbourne Stars branded vehicles and attendance at community events

What You'll Bring:

• A passion for sport and creating memorable event and match day experiences

• Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude

• Excellent stakeholder management and attention to detail

• Ability to work under pressure and outside standard hours, including weekends and public holidays throughout the festive season

• Experience working within a sporting environment in a similar position
